  • Why Dr. Kay?

    Dr-kay service provides a safe and responsible route to health care advice and diagnosis - real doctors, prescribing real medicines delivered to your door.

    Our online doctor service delivers remote medical consultations which are reviewed by our medical team and, where suitable, a private prescription is issued.

    Approved prescriptions are then sent to our Partner Pharmacies for dispensing and delivery.

    Our medical team provide advice before, during and after consultations. With consent, we can inform your personal Doctor of any findings.

  • How are we regulated?

    Dr Kay service is provided by Pemiron Limited, which is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (registration number RC1225543) Our Doctors and Pharmacists are regulated by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.

  • Where does the medicines come from?

    The dispensing of prescription medication is carried out under the supervision of our Partner Pharmacies. All medicines are dispensed according to the UK standards of operation. All medicines are provided with Patient information leaflets.

  • What is the consultation fee?

    Consultation fee is standard and non-refundable. When consultations are combined with an order for a medicine, the price provided includes the consultation, prescription, medicines and postage. These fees are shown before ordering. There are no hidden charges.

    We are required to inform patients of the costs of treatments before consultations.

  • How long does a consultation take?

    A consultation usually takes around 5-10 minutes to complete.

    A doctor will normally review your completed consultation within a few hours. If suitable a doctor will issue a prescription, and medication is usually dispatched within 2-10 working days.

  • How do we provide security and privacy?

    Personal data and messages are stored securely on servers. No confidential information is sent by email. Messages are exchanged through a secure electronic patient record. Only dr-kay doctors, pharmacists and authorised staff have access to personal data and messages. No information about you will be shared with anyone without your prior consent.

  • What about delivery, refunds and returns?

    Deliveries are sent out in discreet packaging by post/courier. A signature is required on receipt of delivery but it does not have to be you.

    If for any reason the doctor does not issue a prescription or an item is not available from the pharmacy, you will receive a full refund within a few days. For reasons of safety we cannot allow medicines once sold to be returned. See Returns and refunds for more information.

  • How do complaints and feedback work?

    Feedback and complaints can be made by sending a message via your electronic patient record. Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and responded to in full within 14 working days. If you are not satisfied with the way a complaint is dealt with you can contact the CAC.
